Spectacular Reinassance road linking Anghiari and Sansepolcro in Tuscany

Tuscany, 429 meters high, the town of Anghiari rises; it is one of the most beautiful villages in all of Italy. It is not touristy and your visit allows you to enter the Middle Ages.

In the 16th century, the road that connects Anghiari and Sansepolcro was built on the occasion of joining two holy places: the Church of the Cross and the Montecasale Eremo in Anghiari, both places related to the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. The perspective from Anghiari is impressive, it is about 7 km in a straight line ready for take off.

Whether the base is Siena or Arezzo, Anghiari and Sansepolcro are two very interesting villages to spend a summer day in Tuscany.
